Slipform Paver 3D Machine Control System-SF Nav

This system delivers high-precision and smooth construction results. Customer feedback has been actively incorporated into the software to meet user needs. The sensor dummy signal control method ensures compatibility with all major machinery, eliminating the need to install additional 3D options on heavy equipment. To enable confident ICT utilization at any job site, the system is continuously improved and updated to provide a solution that is safe, highly precise, and convenient.

Function

  • Analog Control System

Various machine controls using sensor dummy signals.

  • Three-Screen Control System

Control screens can be viewed and operated from above the driver’s seat and from both sides of the large SF machines.

  • Blending Mode

Blending distances for travel line and height offsets can be set independently.

  • Direct Construction Using Alignment Element Data

Enables direct construction at newly built road sites using alignment data.
At sites without alignment data, allow construction and survey point management can be performed using TIN data.

  • Single-Side Control

Supports either single-side height + steer (TS×2) or single-side height (TS×1) configurations, which is useful for half-section construction with turnbacks.

  • Mold Mark Prevention Device

During extended stops, only the rear end of the mold is automatically raised to a predetermined height after a set time has elapsed to prevents mold marks on the concrete surface.

  • Various Warning Announcements

To reduce operational errors on site, the system includes various warning announcements. (same as TS, including prism distance measurement warnings, pole-to-pole distance warnings, and sensor data loss warnings).

  • Convenient Features for Construction

Includes attack angle (mm) settings, rotation angle (°) settings for heavy machinery, a log function for easy troubleshooting, and remote support via network.

  • Toward Further Evolution (Date TBD)

Currently testing 3D control using a single TS unit utilizing azimuth detection with high-precision FOG. Once implemented, this enables significant cost savings and improved operational efficiency.
