3D Machine Control System for Asphalt Paver
AF Nav
QS-120033-VE

This system offers a choice between the Classic version, designed for ease of use by anyone, and the + (Plus) Version, suitable for advanced control applications. It employs a zero-set method similar to grade sensors, ensuring intuitive operation even for first-time 3DMC users. The system also supports thickness control mode, enabling 3D control at sites where total stations cannot be used, such as for leveling pavement on bridge decks. The system is continuously improved and updated to enable ICT utilization across all job sites.
- Enable flexible operation in many situations, such as when only one side needs to be aligned with the existing pavement surface.
- Support high-precision 2-pole control as standard, and 1-pole control using a high-precision inclinometer. *+ Version Only

Functions
-
Zero-Set Control Method
Similar to grade sensor operation, causing minimal disruption to operations.
-
Support Single-Side and Dual-Side Control
Flexible operation in various situations, such as when aligning only one side with the existing pavement surface.
-
1-Pole/2-Pole Compatible *+ Version Only
High-precision 2-pole control is supported, and 1-pole control using a high-precision inclinometer is also available.
-
Direct Construction Support with Alignment Element Data
For newly constructed road sites, direct construction is possible using alignment data.
For sites without alignment data, construction and survey can be performed using TIN data. -
Milling Machine Control Compatibility *+ Version Only
By preparing the MM Expansion Pack separately, the system can also be used for milling machine control.
-
Toward Further Evolution *+ Version Only *Release Date TBD
Sensors for bridge deck construction are currently under development as optional accessories.
-
Hold Function *Release Date TBD
When TS measurement is unavailable or paused, the screed hold function automatically activates, temporarily suspending control. Control resumesautomatically once TS measurement restarts or begins again.
-
Thickness Control Mode
Even at sites where TS measurement cannot be used, such as on bridges, GNSS-based control is possible by leveraging the difference between existing 3D data and design data.
-
Supports Remote Operation
Remote operation from another PC is possible using the wireless LAN included in the MM Expansion Pack.
-
Planned Implementation of Blending Mode *Release Date TBD
An offset function based on specified distances is currently being verified to enable smoother changes in pavement thickness during construction. An offset function based on specified distances is currently being verified to enable smoother changes in pavement thickness during construction.
